1Talk to Diego at the exchange platform and go through every dialogue option. Ask him how to join the Old Camp.

3Ask Diego for trainer recommendations - he names Fingers for thievery. Learning Lockpicking or Pickpocket from Fingers earns his vote (+3 points, optional).

5Do Whistler's sword errand: Whistler is estranged from Fisk and asks the hero to buy a specific ornamented short sword for him (100 ore handed over). At Fisk, ask for the ornamented sword directly (not through the trade menu) - he offers it for 110 ore. Do NOT mention Whistler, or Fisk refuses to sell. Short the 10 ore by going back to Whistler for more. Delivering the sword to Whistler is +3; absconding with his 100 ore is +2 (Fisk's respect). Do not dawdle for days.

7Complete Neuer Hehler für Fisk by setting Sharky up as Fisk's new supplier (+5).

8Optional: drive Mordrag out of the Old Camp (+5) or refuse the run and lose the points (-5).

10Ask Diego how the hero's standing looks - he reports the current point total. With 16+ points and the Trial done, Diego sends the hero up to the castle.

13Raven hands over the shadow armour after the audience. +2450 XP total.
Every new arrival in the Old Camp has to earn the right to wear the shadow's cloak. Diego runs the hero through a layered process: the Trial of Trust in the Old Mine proves loyalty in action, a round of errands in the outer ring earns the camp's good word, and a level-five minimum keeps the door shut on anyone who has not yet proven he survives the Colony at all. Pass the vote and Raven walks the hero to Gomez's throne room; fail and the Old Camp stays a landlord, never a faction.
