Mordrag is a bandit of the New Camp under Lares who sells goods stolen from the ore barons back to the ore barons' own guards in the Old Camp - and simultaneously serves as a courier of the Water Mages, which makes him untouchable for Thorus without sparking a mage retaliation. He is Fisk's main fence, and the hero is dispatched by Thorus to drive him out of the camp without killing him; Mordrag shrugs at the threat, hands over a ring as a calling card for Lares and walks the hero straight to the New Camp gate. After his return he settles at Silas' tavern at the lake, takes an order from Lares to investigate the coming summoning of the Brotherhood and gladly delegates the whole mess to the hero instead.
