Gomez

Gomez is the supreme Ore Baron and boss of the Old Camp, the single most powerful man in the colony. Even before the Barrier went up he was a leader among the prisoners, and after the great uprising he took the castle and the ore trade with the king with his right-hand man Raven. For decades he ruled the camp unchallenged: only after a personal audience and his express approval does any digger rise to Shadow. When the Old Mine collapses and his position wavers, he sends two dozen guards against the Free Mine, orders the Fire Mages who refuse the raid cut down from behind, and throws the smith Stone into the dungeon before sealing the camp entirely. The hero gains entry through a teleport rune, settles every old account, and kills Gomez in the throne room with his two-handed sword Innos' Wrath still in hand.
