Access to the City of Khorinis
To enter the city of Khorinis, the hero needs to get past the gate guards. There are several ways: wearing Peasant Clothing and claiming to be from Lobart's farm, using a pass from Canthar (quest 'Canthar's Favor'), bribing the guards with 100 gold, collecting herbs for Constantino (quest 'Herbs for Constantino'), wearing a leather armor from Orlan, or climbing over the city walls. Speaking with Lares at the harbour afterwards grants a 500 XP bonus.

Walkthrough
There are several ways to enter Khorinis:
**Way 1: Lobart's Farm (50 XP)**
Talk to Maleth and say you want to go to the city. He tells you to tell the guards you come from Lobart's farm and want to visit the smith. Wear the Peasant Clothing first.
**Way 2: Canthar's Pass (0 XP)**
Buy a pass from Canthar when purchasing the pan for Hilda. You then owe him a favor ('Canthar's Favor').
**Way 3: Bribery (0 XP)**
Pay the guards 100 gold.
**Way 4: Herbs for Constantino (100 XP)**
Learn from Lester that the guards let you through if you say you collect herbs for Constantino. Bring 10 plants of the same kind ('Herbs for Constantino').
**Way 5: Leather Armor (0 XP)**
Wear a leather armor, e.g. bought from Orlan at the Dead Harpy Tavern.
**Way 6: Sneak in (500 XP)**
Climb the wall right of the south gate at the lowest point, or go through the moat to the east gate and climb the coastal cliffs to jump onto the city wall, then swim to the harbour. Important: Talk to Lares at the harbour FIRST, otherwise you will not receive the 500 XP!
**Optimal Route (600-700 XP):**
Give the Peasant Clothing to the pirate Greg so he can enter the city. On the way down from Xardas' Tower to Khorinis, collect 10 plants of the same type (e.g. Healing Plants or Fire Nettles). Then climb over the city wall (Way 6) and go straight to Lares at the harbour (500 XP). Afterwards deliver the herbs to Constantino via 'Herbs for Constantino' (50 XP) and (optional) report to Lester (50 XP). This completes multiple quests at once for 600-700 XP when entering the city.
