Lobart’s Farm is the first stop for travellers coming down from the mountains on their way to Khorinis. It sits close enough to the city walls that Lobart never really had the luxury of picking a side in the farmers’ dispute. Onar is further out and can afford the distance. Lobart cannot. So he grows his wheat and turnips, keeps his sheep, and stays loyal to the city by necessity as much as conviction.
For anyone arriving on the island without papers, money or a reason for the gate guards to let them through, the farm is worth stopping at. Lobart has work, and work leads to the kind of clothes that do not get you turned away at the gate.
