Gorn is one of the four friends of the colony, met Diego, Lester and Milten in the Khorinis prison before all four were thrown through the Barrier, and his dark skin marks him as a son of the southern islands. In the New Camp he served first as a bandit under Lares, raiding Old Camp convoys for his share, then as a mercenary of the Water Mages under Lee, without giving up his cut from the raids. Brabak's thugs nearly killed him once; Lester saved his life and Milten's intrigue afterwards saw Brabak dead and the three friends clear. He fights alongside the hero at an old monastery ruin outside the camp to claim a focus stone and put down the young troll guarding it, and when Gomez's guards take the Free Mine he leads the four-man retake through the tunnels and drives them out again.
