    Speak to Dusty at the Old Camp marketplace. He explains his disillusionment with the Old Camp and mentions his missing friend Melvin.

    Let Baal Parvez escort the hero to the Swamp Camp.

    In the Swamp Camp find Melvin and ask about Dusty. Melvin reports he is fine and calls Dusty foolish for staying at the Old Camp.

    Return to Dusty at the Old Camp and pass the message on. Dusty decides to follow Melvin.

    Dusty cannot leave the camp on his own. Bribe the south-gate watch with 100 ore to let him pass.

    Escort Dusty back to the Swamp Camp.

    Speak to Baal Tondral at the Swamp Camp with Dusty in place. Tondral thanks the hero for the new novice. +500 XP and Tondral's vote for Aufnahme Sumpflager.

Baal Tondral wants a fresh novice recruited for the Brotherhood, and the hero cannot count himself. The best candidate sits at the Old Camp marketplace: Dusty, a digger who has heard his friend Melvin joined the Swamp Camp and wants to know how he is doing before making the jump. The road to Tondral's vote runs over the swamp, back over the valley, across a hundred-ore bribe at the south gate and across the wilderness one more time - this time with Dusty in tow.
