Melvin

Melvin was a digger in the Old Camp who had enough of the guards and slipped away about a week before the hero lands in the Colony. He now wears the novice robe of the Brotherhood at the Swamp Camp and takes his lessons at Joru's feet. His old friend Dusty stayed behind at the Old Camp waiting for news, and Melvin asks the hero to pass a simple message along: life among the gurus beats getting kicked around by Gomez's watchmen any day - come already.
