Dusty

Dusty is a digger of the Old Camp who hates his work in the mines and, after his friend Melvin made it out earlier, wants to defect to the Brotherhood in the swamp camp. The guards caught wind of his plans and watch him too closely for him to slip away alone - only a bribe of 100 ore at the south gate and an escort through the wilderness, both provided by the hero, get him safely out of the camp. In the swamp he enters the novice path under Baal Tondral. When the Sleeper's influence later turns the Brotherhood against itself, Dusty, only recently initiated, vanishes into the grey night with the rest.
