Joru

Joru is a senior novice of the Brotherhood of the Sleeper and a candidate for the Baal rank. Until his own promotion lands he teaches the younger novices (among them Melvin) the Sleeper's doctrine and helps Caine test the new swampweed blends that leave Cor Kalom's laboratory - a duty he enjoys more than he probably should. For every three rolls of Black Sage the hero hands him he returns a proper briefing on how to impress each of the Baals: Cadar through a sleep-scroll on one of his students, Namib through Lester's staged dialogue, the rest through simple usefulness around the camp.
