The Rice Lord

The Rice Lord is one of the earliest prisoners thrown into the Colony and a founding figure of the New Camp. When Lee and the Water Mages broke with the Old Camp, he went with them and - together with Homer - raised the dam and laid out the rice fields that feed the whole camp. Today he stands belly-first in front of his storehouse while his farmers bend their backs on the paddies and his enforcer Lefty keeps them in line with fists. The harvest flows straight into Silas' kitchen and Jeremiah's still. He is the man the hero sees to collect the twelve bottles of water for Lefty's water round.
