    Pass through the rice fields outside the New Camp for the first time. Lefty stops the hero and demands water deliveries to 10 farmers.

    Get the water: speak to the Rice Lord and tell him Lefty sent the hero. He hands over water bottles unlimited.

    Deliver water to 10 farmers on the rice fields.

    Return to Lefty. He wants the hero to repeat the round every day. Refuse: tell him he can do it himself.

    Lefty attacks, and the Rice Lord joins in if close enough. Knock Lefty down (and the Rice Lord if he intervenes) - do not kill.

    Speak to Lefty once he is back up. Tell him to water the farmers himself. He caves in. +400 XP.

Lefty does not ask newcomers for help, he drafts them. Any hero who wanders onto the Rice Lord's rice fields gets pressed into water-carrier duty on the spot. The unlimited water comes from the Rice Lord; ten farmers take the refill; a second visit to Lefty offers the choice of either continuing the round every day forever or knocking him down hard enough that he does the work himself. Most heroes pick the second option.
