Information for Garvell
The shipbuilder Garvell in the Harbour District wants to know why the Paladins are in the city and how much time he has left to build his boat. The hero can gather three pieces of information: from Rangar (about the orc outside the city and the orcs in the Valley of Mines) and from Lord Hagen or Lord Andre (about the Paladins' purpose). Reaching Lord Hagen requires guild membership. The quest can be completed in Chapter 1 if you get Lord Hagen's information and end the conversation without asking for the key to the Valley of Mines.

Find Rangar and buy him two beers. He tells you about an orc spotted outside the city and about the orcs in the Valley of Mines (50-250 XP each, chapter-dependent).
**Info 3: Lord Hagen or Lord Andre**
You need to be a guild member (Militia, Mercenaries, or Fire Mages) to reach Lord Hagen in the Upper Quarter. He reveals why the Paladins are in Khorinis. Alternatively, Lord Andre can provide the same information.
