Milten

Milten Plescott is a former soldier who was thrown into the Barrier after deserting the royal army and rose to become a Fire Mage. In the Khorinis prison, he met his lifelong friends Diego, Gorn, and Lester. In the Old Camp, Archmage Corristo discovered his magical talent and took him as an apprentice. Milten saved his friend Gorn through a daring intrigue against the guard leader Brabak and helped the hero defeat an undead guardian at the Stonehenge to retrieve a focus stone. When Gomez had the Fire Mages murdered, Milten was one of the few survivors. He assisted the hero in secretly recharging the sword Uriziel at the New Camp's ore pile. After the fall of the Barrier, he returned to the monastery, was rehabilitated, and accompanied Garond's expedition into the Valley of Mines as magical support. There he helped the hero buy Gorn's freedom. He later guarded the monastery entrance after Pedro's betrayal and accompanied the hero to Irdorath. He teaches the second circle of magic, rune crafting, and magical power enhancement. On the mainland, he set out to rediscover the old, true magic after the runes lost their power.
