Take Crawler Plates

Take Crawler Plates lets the hero cut the carapace plates from the back of a deep-mine minecrawler - a different beast from the small ones in the sealed Old Mine, far more dangerous and with armour that has never been worked before. The cut runs half-diagonal along the edges where the plates grow into the body; the plates then come off clean. Wolf at the New Camp uses them to forge the first Minecrawler Plate Armour ever built inside the Barrier, for the hero and later for Gestath. Cost: 1 LP. Only trainer: Wolf himself, from Chapter 4 onwards when the retaking of the Free Mine is in motion.
