Wolf is the armourer of Lares' bandits and the man to see for anything harder than cloth at the New Camp. He runs the camp's armour stock, sells bows, crossbows and hunting gear on the side, and teaches bow work up to master level as well as the knife-tricks a hunter needs to take pelts, teeth and claws cleanly off his kill. His signature project comes during the retaking of the Free Mine: the carapace plates of the deep-mine minecrawlers are a material nobody has ever worked before, and once the hero brings enough of them back, Wolf experiments his way into the first minecrawler-plate armour ever forged inside the Barrier - one for the hero, another later for the hunter Gestath. After the Barrier falls he follows Lares out and signs on as a mercenary at Onar's farm.
