Pock

Pock is one of the oldest rice farmers on the Rice Lord's fields at the New Camp and one of the first prisoners ever thrown into the Colony. He came here when his barn ran empty and he could no longer pay the king's tax - the soldiers took him, and he has been picking rice ever since. Years of field work, a little rice and the occasional schnapps have kept him alive long past most of his peers, but his mind has drifted. He forgets conversations the moment they end and greets the hero as a fresh face every time. One of the farmers the hero supplies on Lefty's water round.
