Sylvio

Sylvio is a mercenary at Onar's farm who arrived in Khorinis with his own squad from the south, where they had previously fought orcs. Although he formally submits to Lee's command, he pushes for more aggressive action and causes a split among the mercenaries. On the farm, he makes himself unpopular by complaining about Thekla's cooking and spreading rumors – such as wearing supposedly magical, invincible armor – to ensure nobody challenges him to a duel. His right-hand man Bullco often acts in his name and bullies farmers and weaker mercenaries. When Sylvio hears about the dragons in the Valley of Mines, he smells rich plunder and convinces some mercenaries with grand promises to follow him as Dragon Hunters. In the valley, he quarrels with the other hunters and presses on with only Bullco and a handful of loyalists toward the ice region, where the most powerful dragon supposedly dwells. Most of his men are killed by ice golems. After the hero clears the golems and slays the ice dragon Finkregh for him, Sylvio attempts to murder him to claim the treasure and glory of the dragon kill for himself. He pays for this betrayal with his life.
