Rod

Rod is a mercenary at Onar's farm who recently arrived in Khorinis with Sylvio from the south. A rough fellow, he likes to dismiss newcomers as "weaklings" and "sausages." Anyone who claims to be strong enough for a two-handed weapon gets challenged to a bet: 30 gold pieces that they can't even lift his heavy sword. Those who win the bet earn his respect – and can learn the basics of two-handed combat from him. Rod later joined the Dragon Hunters and had Bennet craft him equipment, though the boots of his new armor became an endless problem: too tight and they nearly fall off, too loose and they pinch like hell. Together with Cipher, he went to the Valley of Mines and helped the hero defeat the swamp dragon Pandrodor. After slaying an actual dragon, his greatest concern remained those cursed boots.
