Pepe

Pepe is the young shepherd at Onar's farm who tends the sheep on the pasture and tries to stay out of trouble – which he rarely manages. A small pack of wolves has been killing nearly one sheep a day, and the mercenary Bullco, who was supposed to guard the pasture, instead hung around with Sylvio in Thekla's kitchen. Pepe has already lost half his flock and is too afraid to tell Onar. The hero eventually helped him kill the four wolves. Pepe sells sheep to travelers for 100 gold pieces – all female sheep are named Liesel, the rams are named Horst. Despite his youthful insecurity, he keeps up with the local news and reports on dark figures at Sekob's farm and henchmen on Lobart's land.
