Karras

Karras is a Fire Mage at the Monastery of Khorinis and a master of spherical manifestation – the art of summoning creatures and entities from other spheres. He spends nearly all his time in the library researching and teaches his brothers the summoning arts, from Goblin Skeletons to the Army of Darkness. When the Seekers appeared, Karras began studying them intensively and discovered they were once human – members of the Brotherhood of the Sleeper who, under the influence of a powerful archdemon and strong drugs, were transformed into soulless tools of evil. He developed a protective amulet made from stone of blessed earth that shields the wearer from the Seekers' dark gaze. He also sent the hero to Khorinis to obtain spell scrolls from the alchemist Ignaz to test whether his magic is pleasing to Innos. He sells rare spell scrolls that Gorax doesn't stock.
