Jarvis

Jarvis is a mercenary under Lee who already guarded the inner gate at the New Camp in the penal colony. After the fall of the Barrier, he followed Lee to the landowner Onar's farm, where he has made himself comfortable in Thekla's kitchen. Jarvis watches with concern as the rift among the mercenaries grows: Sylvio and his men, who came from the south where they hunted orcs, increasingly challenge Lee's leadership. While Lee wants to wait and starve out the paladins in order to get everyone off the island, Sylvio pushes to plunder the smaller farms and ambush militia patrols. Jarvis stands firmly on Lee's side and will only give the hero his vote for mercenary admission if he knocks down at least three of Sylvio's men in duels – as a clear sign of loyalty to Lee. He doesn't care whether one follows the duel rules, as long as the lads end up in the dirt.
