Akil

Akil is a humble farmer who works a small homestead northeast of the city of Khorinis together with his wife Kati. He grows wheat and raises sheep, selling his goods to the merchant Baltram. Since he remains loyal to the king and the city, he regularly clashes with Onar's mercenaries Alvares and Engardo, who collect rent for the landowner by simply taking what they want. Bandits have also settled in a cave in the nearby forest and steal his sheep. Trouble brews among his farmhands as well: the brothers Ehnim and Egill quarrel constantly, Randolph has a drinking problem, and the workers Tonak and Telbor vanished without a trace – kidnapped by bandits and taken to Jharkendar, where they were forced to toil in Raven's gold mine. The hero helped with many of these problems: driving off the mercenaries, eliminating the sheep thieves, and freeing the abducted farmhands.
