    Enter the New Camp and get past Jarvis at the gate. On the dam meet Homer and ask him what he is doing. He explains the lurker damage and asks the hero to kill the beast.

    Leave Homer and head back toward Jarvis; turn left immediately after the dam and follow the lake shore.
  3. 3
    A Dam Lurker waits on a small spit of land below. Kill it in melee with a 30+ damage weapon or at range with bow shots.

    Return to Homer on the dam and report the lurker is dead. He leaves his post. +300 XP.

Homer stands his watch on the dam of the New Camp and keeps finding the same damage every morning: a lurker has been tearing at the footings. He has no appetite for the fight himself and asks the hero to take the beast down on its shore stretch below the dam. A blade that lands above 30-40 damage handles it in melee; a trained archer cuts it down at distance before the claws come in.
