Viper

Viper is the Old Camp ore smelter stationed at the furnace on the lowest level of the Old Mine. Only a fraction of the mined ore is actually melted down these days - Gomez and the Fire Mages spent weeks investigating the shaft and ruled that most of it must be shipped raw to the King - and Viper resents the mages for poking their noses where they had no business. What he siphons off the unmelted stockpile he trades on the side: the Nameless Hero can bring him goods and walk out with large stacks of ore. He wears no armor - the heat of the furnace makes it impossible - and keeps a Wound Thorn at hand for intruders.
