Scar

Scar is one of the best fighters of the Old Camp and together with Arto the personal bodyguard of Gomez - a rank he carved out through a lifetime of hatred that eventually put him through the Barrier and into the ore barons' inner circle. The long scar across his left eye is the trophy of a shadowbeast ambush in the wilderness, where only his footwork kept him alive long enough for the creature to break off after another victim. He follows Gomez through the castle by day, enforces the rule that no uninvited visitor reaches his master, and dies defending him when the hero finally settles the account with Gomez in the throne room.
