Merdarion

Merdarion is one of the Water Mages and the spiritual guide of the nomad tribe of Kayor. He travelled from Varant to Khorinis when the king called for the creation of the Barrier, helped weave the magical wall, and was trapped inside it with the eleven other mages. When the Fire and Water Mages split, he followed Saturas out of the Old Camp and joined the founders of the New Camp. In the mages' quarters at the back of the cave he now studies the magical properties of the ore and helps refine the plan to tear the Barrier down from the inside.
