Huno

Huno is the smith of the Old Camp, his forge set in the outer ring next to the Shadow huts, with at least one digger apprentice at the grindstone. He handles both rough work and fine ornaments with the same confidence - Whistler's latest decorated blade earned him 150 ore and a long side-eye - and in his own words no customer has ever been unhappy enough to say so out loud. He sells raw steel and smithing supplies to anyone buying, and teaches the craft on request: heat the steel until it glows evenly, hammer at the anvil, quench in the water bucket, finish on the grindstone. He has little patience for curious questions and even less for anyone wasting his time at the forge.
