Gor Hanis

Gor Hanis is a Templar of the Brotherhood of the Sleeper, sent from the swamp camp into the arena of the Old Camp to fight for the glory of the Sleeper and make every unbeliever see the strength his god has granted him. He answers to Scatty, who runs the arena, and refuses to duel the hero until his opponent is truly a worthy challenge - slaying a farm-boy upstart, he says, would not serve the higher honour of the Sleeper. He directs newcomers curious about the coming great summoning to the novices escorting visitors to the swamp camp. When the Old Mine collapses and the Fire Mages are cut down, Gor Hanis is torn apart by the enraged outer-ring mob together with every other non-member of the Old Camp.
