Cord is a mercenary of the New Camp under Lee and the one-handed sword master of the camp, training bandits and fellow mercenaries alike on the rocky plateau by the lake. His lessons run 30 ore for the basics - blade held high, weight into the swing, rhythm out of the wrist - and 50 ore for the full master's technique with full-body rotation and crossing cuts. He wears heavy mercenary plate and carries Cord's Cleaver at his side, and when Gomez's guards take the Free Mine he holds watch in front of the camp with the rest of Lee's men.
