Bullit

Bullit was a guardsman of the Old Camp in charge of the ore-exchange transports between the camp and the outside world. He greeted new arrivals at the exchange point with a "baptism", a fist to the face, and he and his fellow guards rarely stopped there. The hero himself was baptised the same way and saved from worse only by Diego's intervention; much later the two met again in the castle, where the hero settled the old score and killed Bullit in single combat.
