Gone Missing
Hanna, the owner of the inn 'The Sleeping Moneybag' in the Lower Quarter, recently cleaned out some old papers and sold a bundle of maps to the cartographer Brahim in the Harbour District. Unfortunately, an important document ended up between the papers by accident. She needs someone to buy it back from Brahim before it is gone for good. The hero must show genuine concern for her troubles — dismissive or greedy responses will put her off. If the hero asks about a reward, Hanna reacts differently depending on how the conversation goes: demanding gold earns the lowest payout, while offering to help without conditions earns the highest. The document in question is a Very Old Map that can be purchased from Brahim at his shop by the harbour. Before returning it, the hero can examine the map and investigate the location it marks.
Rewards
300 XP + 50, 75, or 200 gold from Hanna depending on dialogue choice. Best reward (200 gold): choose '"I''ll see what I can do"' without asking for payment. Costs 150 gold to buy the map from Brahim.
Walkthrough
**Important:** Your response determines the reward. Choose '"Of course"' to unlock the quest with the best payout. Choosing '"Not really"' or '"Depends"' ends the conversation without receiving the quest.
After accepting, Hanna explains that she sold a bundle of old maps to Brahim and an important document slipped in by mistake. She asks you to retrieve it.
**Reward negotiation:** If you ask '"What do I get for it?'", Hanna is disappointed. You then have three choices:
- '"Gold"' — she offers 50 gold
- '"Never mind"' (Schon gut) — she appreciates the decency and offers 75 gold
- '"You could be a little nicer"' — she throws you out and the quest fails
If instead you choose '"I''ll see what I can do"' without asking for a reward, she is most grateful and pays 200 gold upon completion.
Go to Brahim's shop in the Harbour District. Buy the Very Old Map from him (150 gold).
Before returning the map, you can examine it in your inventory. It marks a specific location on the island — travel there and look around for hidden treasure.
Bring the Very Old Map back to Hanna (300 XP + gold depending on your earlier dialogue choice).
