Hilda

Hilda is the wife of the farmer Lobart, living on the small farm south of the city of Khorinis. She is a kind-hearted woman who cooks a hearty stew every day for the farmhands – and occasionally for helpful travelers who lend a hand on the farm. Those who work get fed; idlers are sent away. Unfortunately, Hilda suffers from a persistent lung disease that repeatedly confines her to bed with severe fever. Only a healing potion from the Water Mage Vatras managed to save her, though he warned that she would likely not survive a harsh winter. Since her husband Lobart refuses to leave the farm unattended in these troubled times, Hilda depends on others to make the difficult journey to the healer in the city on her behalf.
