The Seekers
This mage-exclusive quest spans from Chapter 3 to Chapter 6. After speaking with Xardas about the black men, the hero investigates the possessed citizens of Khorinis. The first target is the merchant Fernando in the Upper Quarter, who transforms into a Seeker when asked about his health (complete Fernando's Business first!). He carries an Almanac of the Possessed which goes to Pyrokar. Pyrokar provides a list of possessed NPCs and sends the hero to Karras, who researches the Seekers and eventually crafts a Soul Call Amulet to protect against their mental attacks. The possessed include Malak, Vino, Bromor (Ch.3), Engrom, Randolph (Ch.4), Sekob, Brutus (Ch.5). All almanacs go to Pyrokar. The quest ends in Chapter 6 after killing Mario and the dark mage on Irdorath.
Rewards
Up to 14,350 XP total across all chapters + 400 gold per almanac delivered to Pyrokar. Soul Call Amulet for protection.
Walkthrough
2. **Complete Fernando's Business first!** Then ask Fernando how he is doing (400 XP). He transforms into a Seeker. Lure him outside the city to avoid guard aggro, knock him out, and loot the Almanac of the Possessed.
3. Bring the almanac to Pyrokar (150-250 XP). He gives a list of possessed NPCs and sends you to Karras.
4. Karras needs an almanac from another possessed NPC (500 XP). After 2 days, talk to him again (300 XP). He then needs stone from sacred ground (found behind the shrine at Lobart's farm or near the Fire Trial cave). Bring it (500 XP). After 2 more days, receive the Soul Call Amulet (150-250 XP). **Always wear it when confronting possessed NPCs.**
5. **Chapter 3 possessed:**
- Malak: Near Onar's farm in a rock crevice (400 XP)
- Vino: Kidnapped to the stone circle near Lobart's farm. Approach quickly before the Seekers kill him. If saved, send him to the monastery (400 XP), talk to him there (150-250 XP), then report to Lobart (150-250 XP)
- Bromor: Red Lantern in Khorinis
6. **Chapter 4 possessed:**
- Engrom: Near the cave where Marcos was found in Chapter 2 (400 XP)
- Randolph: Akil's farm (400 XP)
7. **Chapter 5 possessed:**
- Sekob: Sekob's farm (400 XP)
- Brutus: The Castle in the Valley of Mines (400 XP)
8. Bring all almanacs to Pyrokar (450 XP + 400 gold each).
9. Quest ends in Chapter 6: Kill Mario (5,000 XP) and talk to the dark mage (300 XP) on Irdorath. Give Mario's almanac to Milten or Vatras.
