The Halls of Irdorath

This quest is automatically logged at the start of Chapter 6. The hero must fight through the Halls of Irdorath — an island fortress overrun with orcs, Lizardmen, Seekers, skeletons, and ultimately the Undead Dragon itself. The path leads through orc-filled corridors to a throne room, then into the island's depths past the fire dragon Feodaron, across a chasm via a lever-activated bridge, through a complex switch puzzle, and finally to the dark mage guarding the Eye of Power. Using the Eye of Power opens the final gate to the Undead Dragon. The Eye of Innos must be charged before engaging the dragons.

Walkthrough

1. Enter the Halls of Irdorath at the start of Chapter 6.
2. Fight through the orc-infested corridors. In the throne room, defeat the orc colonel and his guards. Loot the **prison key** from his body.
3. Optionally free Pedro from the prison cells using the key.
4. In the throne room, pull the two torches at the far end — **left first, then right**. Stand back a few steps from the torches or the mechanism may not trigger. This opens a secret passage deeper into the island.
5. Follow the passage into a large cavern filled with Lizardmen.
6. At the end of the cavern, defeat the fire dragon Feodaron. Charge the Eye of Innos beforehand.
7. Cross the chasm: shoot the switches on the towers across the gap with a bow to extend the bridge.
8. Fight through Seekers and skeletons guarding the temple entrance.
9. Inside the temple: the right door leads to a room with a recipe. The left path leads to the shadow lord Archol and his skeleton guards.
10. Defeat Archol, take his key, and open the door in his room.
11. Shortly after, encounter either four undead orcs (if Mario was not recruited) or Mario himself accompanied by four skeletons.
12. Enter the **central hall with the switch puzzle**. Four corridors branch off (2 up, 2 down). Find the **Keymaster** in one of the corridors and loot his key.
13. Use the key to access the side rooms (left and right of the central hall). Each room has two levers — pull them to open the gates.
14. Solve the switch puzzle in the four rooms:
— **Upper left**: Middle → Right → Left
— **Lower left**: Middle only
— **Upper right**: Middle → Left → Right
— **Lower right**: Middle → Left → Right
15. Each correct combination raises a switch pillar in the central hall. Press all four, a fifth pillar appears — press it to open the great gate.
16. Behind the gate: defeat the Seekers and the dark mage. Loot the Dark Mage's Scroll (read it) and the key to the chest containing the Eye of Power.
17. Take the Eye of Power from the chest. Stand before the final gate and activate it — kneel, and the gate opens.
18. Defeat the Undead Dragon to complete the quest.
