I Need a Ship
After visiting the secret library beneath the Monastery of Fire in Chapter 5 and reading the Sea Chart to Irdorath found there, this quest is logged (2,000 XP). The hero must now gain access to the paladin ship in the Harbour District to sail to Irdorath. The path depends on the hero's guild. Paladins and mages can simply speak to the ship guards near the dock or near Halvor's stand, then convince Girion (who appears at the ship during daytime) to hand it over. Mercenaries must first talk to Lee, who sends the hero to the Judge of Khorinis to obtain an authorization letter, either by requesting it or by blackmail (1,500 XP). If the quest The Judge's Lackey was declined in Chapter 3, Lee provides the letter directly. The hero then shows the letter to the ship guards and speaks to Girion. If Lee accompanies the hero, reporting the success to him earns an additional 250 XP.
Rewards
Up to 3,750 XP total: 2,000 (reading chart) + 1,500 (authorization) + 250 (Lee report). Access to the paladin ship to sail to Irdorath.
Walkthrough
1. Read the Sea Chart to Irdorath in the secret library beneath the Monastery of Fire (2,000 XP).
2. Go to the Harbour District. Speak to the ship guards near the paladin ship or Halvor's stand. As a paladin, you have ship access from Chapter 3 already.
3. Wait for Girion to appear at the ship (daytime only). Tell him you need the ship. He agrees to let you take it.
**Mercenaries:**
1. Read the Sea Chart to Irdorath (2,000 XP).
2. Talk to Lee. He sends you to the Judge of Khorinis.

4. Go to the Harbour District and show the letter to the ship guards.
5. Speak to Girion at the ship.
6. If Lee is with you, report back to him for 250 XP.
