Forged Mine Shares

Side Quest | Chapter 3 – The Eye of Innos | Serpentes | Monastery of Fire

Serpentes informs the hero that various merchants are selling forged Khorinis Ore Mine Shares. The hero should buy all shares from the merchants before confronting them. There are 13 shares total, spread across 9 merchants: Matteo (1), Bosper (1), Canthar (3), Zuris (1), Hakon (1), Salandril (2), Orlan (1), Rosi (1), and Elena (2). Reading one of the shares reveals that Salandril is the forger. After collecting all shares, bring them to Serpentes and then bring Salandril to the monastery by beating him up. As a Dragon Hunter, the quest is limited to delivering Salandril to the monastery.

Walkthrough

1. Talk to Serpentes at the Monastery.
2. **Buy all Ore Mine Shares before confronting merchants:**
- Matteo: 1 share (150-250 XP)
- Bosper: 1 share (150-250 XP)
- Canthar: 3 shares (150-250 XP)
- Zuris: 1 share (150-250 XP)
- Hakon: 1 share (150-250 XP)
- Salandril: 2 shares (150-250 XP)
- Orlan: 1 share (150-250 XP)
- Rosi: 1 share (150-250 XP)
- Elena: 2 shares (150-250 XP)
3. Read one of the shares to discover Salandril is the forger.
4. Bring all 13 shares to Serpentes (75 XP + 200 gold per share + Amulet of Mental Power).
5. Serpentes says to bring Salandril in (150-250 XP).
6. Beat up Salandril and bring him to the Monastery.
7. Report to Serpentes (400 XP).
8. **As Dragon Hunter:** Only beat up and deliver Salandril, then talk to Serpentes (400 XP + 400 gold).
