Jorgen

Jorgen is a stranded seaman and former captain of the whaler Magdalena, which was sunk by pirates. Without a ship and no work in the city, he made his way to the Monastery of the Fire Mages, where he received asylum – though he ate the novices out of half their cellar and had to work off his debts in the monastery garden. Life among the "eternally nagging do-gooders" didn't suit him: pulling weeds instead of sailing was not for him. He longed for planks beneath his feet. The hero could free him from his debts by clearing the demons from Xardas' abandoned tower for Pyrokar. Jorgen is one of three possible captains for the voyage to Irdorath. He requires a crew of at least five men, a ship, and a sea chart. After returning from Irdorath, he found new lodgings at the landowner's farm – not as stuffy as the monastery, even if he had to tend sheep there.
