Torlof

Torlof is one of Lee's mercenaries at the New Camp - an old sea dog who used to serve as a mate on one of the king's warships. He joined a mutiny, the mutiny failed, most of the crew sided with the captain, and the verdict landed him in the Colony. He fell in behind Lee the day he arrived and has been there ever since. Of all the mercenaries in the camp, Torlof is the one who gives the hero the crucial tip for getting through Lares' door: steal something meaningful out of the Old Camp or the Old Mine, and the bandits will start taking you seriously - the supply list Ian smuggles out is the proof that unlocks the passage.
