Allows stealing items from NPCs while sneaking behind them. One of the best sources of extra XP in the game since many NPCs carry valuables. Requires the Sneak skill. Success depends on dexterity. Failed attempts will turn the NPC hostile.
How to Learn
Learn from Cassia in the thieves guild in Chapter 1 (100 gold or free, requires guild membership, 10 LP). Also available from Bill at the pirate camp in Chapter 2 (requires 40 dexterity, must not have entered Greg's hut before learning).
