Wambo

Wambo is a militia soldier who patrols the Upper Quarter of Khorinis under Lord Hagen's express orders to ensure no one enters the citizens' homes. Despite his official duty, he can be bribed: for 250 gold pieces, he disappears from his post at night, allowing the thieves' guild to conduct undisturbed burglaries in the Upper Quarter. The lockpick expert Ramirez knows him and directs thieves his way, even though Wambo calls Ramirez a "little rat" and denies being his friend. If one causes trouble in his vicinity despite the deal, the arrangement is off.
