Valentino

Valentino is a rich, young dandy in Khorinis who doesn't need to work and makes sure everyone knows it. He calls himself a bon vivant and ladies' man – free of worries, rich in gold and wisdom, with women supposedly falling at his feet. His arrogant, insulting manner irritates the citizens of the city so thoroughly that he gets beaten up on a regular basis. Regis has already knocked him down and took a ring from him, which has since become a traveling trophy passed on to whoever next gives Valentino a thrashing. The hero and the innkeeper Coragon have also had their turn with him. Every evening he drinks at Coragon's tavern until he staggers back to the Upper Quarter in the early morning hours – on one occasion he couldn't pay his tab and promptly received the next beating.
