Talbin

Talbin is a hunter who was lured to the Valley of Mines by talk of the best hunting grounds and is now stuck there. Together with his companion Engrom, he is trapped by the numerous orcs and monsters, hunting lurkers and scavengers along the river – the riverbanks are still the safest area despite the orcs, as the creatures apparently don't venture near water. When Engrom vanished after a mysterious vision and was cursed by the Seekers, Talbin panicked. The hero saved his life and escorted him over the pass to Khorinis, where he found shelter at Akil's farm. For a piece of cheese – which he has been craving for weeks – Talbin teaches travelers how to hack claws, skin pelts and lurker hides, remove shadowrunner horns, and extract the hearts of magical creatures.
