Silvestro

Silvestro was a knight and paladin from the expedition of Lord Hagen, commanding one of the three mining teams in the Valley of Mines. His team operated in the orc territory near the old tower of Xardas and extracted four crates of magical ore – the highest yield of all three sites. Following an uneasy feeling, Silvestro sent Diego with two knights and the ore back toward the castle to secure it, documenting this decision in a note in case something went wrong. Diego was chosen for his knowledge of the terrain from his years in the colony. Shortly after, Silvestro and all his remaining men were killed by minecrawlers that broke through the mine wall. When the hero arrives at the mining site, only the dead remain – and the note that points toward the whereabouts of Diego and the ore.
