Rukhar

Rukhar is a former farmhand who fled the landowner's fields a few weeks ago and has since been his own master. All his possessions fit in a single chest at Orlan's tavern – and he claims that's all he needs. At the Dead Harpy tavern, he hosts his drinking contest "Empty the Mug in One Slug": two opponents take turns drinking beer until one drops. What his challengers don't know is that Rukhar laces their beer with juniper spirits to ensure he wins. With this tactic, he has beaten Randolph every time. The hero saw through the cheating and smuggled water into Rukhar's chest, allowing Randolph to finally win. The innkeeper Orlan is not pleased with the contests and has to play supervisor each time. Rukhar is not particularly popular among his peers.
