Parlaf

Parlaf is a militia soldier serving as the assistant to the blacksmith Dobar at the castle in the Valley of Mines. He spends all day at the grindstone sharpening blades and complains bitterly about the dwindling food rations. The quartermaster Engor keeps cutting the weekly portions, and the meager soldier's pay barely buys a few turnips. His complaints about hunger prompted Engor to seek help from the hero in restocking the meat supplies. Once the hero delivers enough food, Parlaf is relieved to finally receive proper rations of flesh again. He and Dobar eventually fled the castle together. Their fate is unknown.
