Parcival

Parcival is a paladin at the castle in the Valley of Mines, responsible for organizing and dispatching the three mining teams. He assigned the groups under Silvestro, Marcos, and Fajeth, placing the prisoner Diego in the team of Silvestro and having an old digger named Grimes guide the group of Marcos to an old mine. He reports that the scout Jergan observed the other two groups setting up camp near a large tower. Parcival is a grim, devout soldier who sees the situation growing more hopeless by the day. The orcs have the castle surrounded, the dragons destroyed the entire outer ring, and the creatures of the valley support the dragons in force. He openly despises the Dragon Hunters who arrived at the castle, calling them vagrants and criminals who destroy the morale of his warriors rather than inspiring them – in their hearts, the fire of Innos does not burn. He would throw them all out if it were up to him. When the hero asks him to let Jan use the smithy, Parcival flatly refuses – only relenting when told it is a direct order from Garond, though he considers it a mistake. If the castle gate is opened for Torlof, Parcival accuses the hero of treason and attacks.
