Owen

Owen is a pirate and member of the crew of Captain Greg in Jharkendar. Together with his companion Malcom, he was ordered by Henry to fell trees and saw planks outside the pirate camp for the palisade – backbreaking work while the rest of the crew lounges in the sun. During the job, a lurker attacked them. They fled into a nearby cave, but the beast followed. Malcom fought the lurker and fell together with the creature into a deep crevice filled with water below. Owen escaped but was too afraid to follow them down. He reproaches himself for not helping his companion and doesn't know whether Malcom survived the fall. The hero can climb down the crevice, confirm the death of Malcom, and bring Owen the grim news. Wracked with guilt but resigned to the truth, Owen then agrees to deliver the long-overdue lumber to Henry at the camp. If he had known what being a pirate really entailed, he says, he would never have signed up. After the orc invasion of Khorinis, the surviving humans were transported to the mainland on orc galleys and given a choice between slavery or serving as orc mercenaries – what became of Owen is unknown.
