Myxir

Myxir is one of the six Water Mages who helped create the Barrier over the Valley of Mines. After its fall, he devoted himself to studying the language of the Builders – the key to understanding the lost civilization of Jharkendar. He studied the broken stone tablets containing the collected knowledge of the ancient people and taught his brothers and the hero the three dialects of the Builders: the language of the peasants, the warriors, and the priests. In Jharkendar, Myxir discovered evidence of the ancient culture's spirit summoning – the deathguards had once maintained contact with the souls of their deceased rulers and warriors through rituals. He helped the hero summon the spirit of the warlord Quarhodron to learn the secret of the sealed Temple of Adanos. After Raven's death, Myxir replaced the Water Mage Vatras in the city of Khorinis. Before the orc conquest of the island, he teleported to the mainland with the other Water Mages, returning to their people, the nomads.
