Mortis

Mortis is the blacksmith of the Khorinis militia, working in the smithy inside the barracks. He maintains the weapons and armor of the city guard and trains militia soldiers and paladins to build their strength – outsiders are turned away. Mortis knows the harbor district well and shares valuable tips with his comrades. He is aware that the weapons master Peck likes to spend his time with Vanja at the Red Lantern instead of doing his duties. When searching for the swampweed dealer, he strongly advises the hero to take off the militia armor before asking around in the harbor district – Kardif's tavern and the brothel are the best places to learn anything.
